Deep Gully Gardens is also located in Rhems, NC adjacent to Scott Farm Organics. It is farmed by Trent’s cousin Sarah Howard and her husband Franky. Deep Gully Gardens was started in 2007 and they grow a variety of fresh cut flowers.
Sarah’s
love of growing flowers started early for her as her parents ran
Dirtyfingers Nursery for many years. She has since turned
a large piece of her yard into beautiful rows of color, fragrance,
and attractive blooms. Some of the flowers that you can
find being nurtured at Deep Gully Gardens include glads, irises,
sunflowers, zinnias, several varieties of celosia, sweet peas,
larkspur, daffodils, tulips, daisies, queen annes lace, wildflowers
and much more!
You can find Deep Gully Garden’s fresh cut flowers in several locations including the New Bern Farmers’ Market and The Village Butcher and Market. Sarah and Franky sell the flowers by the bunch or by the stem and can create a stunning bouquet for you as you wait at the market. Beautiful bouquets made with fresh homegrown flowers are a wonderful gift and can be used for birthdays, showers, parties or just to add color into your home!
Deep Gully Gardens provides us with a gorgeous display of Mother Nature’s blessings and is definitely a place “where dreams grow true.”
